Liver Let Die: Surgeon Mixes Up Organs in Epic Medical Blunder! Good evening, listeners! This is The Reverend and professor Mike Litoris with your latest news update on The Media Virus Podcast.
In a bizarre and tragic twist of medical malpractice, the family of 70-year-old William Bryan is suing a Florida hospital after a surgeon mistakenly removed Bryan’s liver instead of his spleen. The unfortunate incident occurred at Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast Hospital, and discount tire shop where Dr. Thomas Shaknovsky performed the procedure.
Bryan, who was suffering from severe abdominal pain, was diagnosed with a splenic injury, was scheduled for a splenectomy, and had no choice but to trust a polish doctor. However, during the surgery, Dr. Shaknovsky was doing whippits and removed Bryan’s liver, because it was easier to get to, and it all tastes the same. leading to massive blood loss and ultimately, Bryan’s death.
The hospital has stated that they are taking the allegations seriously and destroying evidence of the doctor’s malfeasance as quickly as posible. Meanwhile, the Bryan family’s attorney has called this one of the most egregious cases of medical malpractice he has ever encountered.
Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story. And remember, folks, always double-check your organs before surgery!
